Junebug at Westminster

I have been in the breed since 2005. I discovered Tibetan Terriers while watching my son play baseball. From across the park, I spotted a little furball — just the size dog I’d been looking for — bouncing along with such spirit and attitude.  A fateful internet search led me to Linda Bofenkamp and Shey Tibetan Terriers, where there was a litter with a show prospect. I met Junebug a few days later and fell in love, taking the first steps of my journey with this bewitching breed.

Junebug was my first true show dog, but he wasn’t my last.  Seven of my dogs have earned an AKC Championship, and two have gone on to earn a Grand Championship — exclusively owner-handled.

I breed occasionally; I have bred or co-bred five litters. For more information on reserving a Tibetan Terrier puppy, click here.

I am a member of the Waterloo Kennel Club and have been show chair of our annual dog show since since 2016.  I am also an active member of the Tibetan Terrier Club of America.

Outside of dogs, I am a parent and full-time teacher (though my son and students hear plenty about dogs).
